Thanks for the ping, Cato. I live near Kent State and every year we have to listen to the same tired one-sided story, see the iconic photos of the martyred students and endure the saga of the Candlelight Vigil. The University has milked this event to assure students that it is indeed, of like mind.
Never mentioned are the rock-throwing protesters and the many activists who came from out of state to provoke exactly the situation which occurred.

For the record, at the time of the incident I was in Army Basic Training at Ft. Campbell with a lot of National Guard trainees who underwent the same training as we regular army soldiers- react to adversity or die.
But, as you may have noticed about my fellow baby-boomers, it’s not enough to be content with your personal beliefs- they must be adjudicated, publicized and legislated for all to follow.

I have decided that I am interested in the National Guardsmen who were on duty that day. What were the names of the men who stood trial? I wanna do a sympathetic portrait of American heroes for the Republic of Utica.

On the candlelight vigil you should hold a Pro-American counter-demonstration. That’s how legends like “McCarthyism” grow, they are unchallenged.

I emailed an invoice to Alan Canfora this morning for seven cents from the American People for the bullet we had to shoot at him while he was rioting. I told him he was getting off easy and to make payment and his apology for rioting promptly.
