2004 Presidential Results by Congressional District.

2000 Presidential Results by Congressional District (New Jersey)

Looks like I may have actually supported your contention. Unlike you normal Lieberal, I won't run away from it. The facts are what they are.

Was that necessary? I don't believe I said anything that considered liberal, nor was I even trying to pick a fight. I merely expressed skepticism, which I still hold, that Republicans will have a tough time winning either the Senate or Presidential race in Minnesota next year, and that our changes are better in New Jersey than in Minnesota. The pictures you've shown, as well as the results of the 2006 Senate race in NJ vs. MN, all support the theory that Republican support is stronger and growing more in New Jersey than in Minnesota.

Also, from a historical prespective, NJ went for the GOP in 1988, 1984, 1980, 1976, 1972, and 1968. Since 1960, Minnnesota only went for the GOP once, in 1972, when Nixon won 49 states. To me, that would also suggest better Republican chances in NJ than in MN.

I don't think it's GOOD that Republicans do so poorly in my home state - it's just a fact.
