Ultrasounds are expensive and I am not sure who would have been asked to pay for it-— or whether it would have been split between the state and the woman. Lets keep in mind that having an abortion is expensive!

Recently the S.C. senate dropped this part of the bill. Still, it is interesting that they were willing to put it in there in the first place!

just for the patients safety an ultrasound exam should be conducted rather than “flying blind” ,, clinics should have such a machine onsite already as they use it to determine billing based on the babies gestational age ,,, sure most clinics are only in it for the $$$ and employ nurses and helpers that can’t get a job in a real medical setting but for $2500 one time plus expendables at about $2 per procedure this is a great idea...
