Of course he’s losing in votes nationally. He has 50% the name recognition. But he’s consistently within striking distance in New Hampshire (tied in the latest) and Michigan, where he has 75% of the name recognition of Giuliani and McCain, in the teens in Iowa and (now) in South Carolina, where he has 60% of the name recognition of McCain and Giuliani. I think Romney will a fantastic president and I have no intention of “cashing in my chips”. He’ll be around come Super-Tuesday, and I’ll happily cast my vote for him then, win, lose, or draw.
He’s got more $$$ and he’s been in campaign mode for longer than most others.
I know the feeling of suffering an investment loss on a promising business model and being in denial, and confusion as to why others did not see what I saw. But at some point you have to cut your losses and get on with it.
