One of the most beautiful sections of San Francisco is the Presido and it's surrounding grounds. Hundreds of acres of pine forest, grasslands, 18 hole golf course, 1880's classic brick architecture, sweeping vies of the Pacific, the Golden gate and the city. This area, ecological preserve was long protected and was given to the city courtesy of the US Army.
