Can he supply a list of the constitutionalist judges he appointed as mayor? He said on Hannity & Colmes that he had appointed over a hundred judges. I think this would be an ideal place for him to settle any lingering doubt about his judicial appointment record.
Excellent suggestion.
That is a good point, but the judicial appointments of a Mayor are very different than that of a President. Municipal Judges oversee criminal law, family law, or traffic violations. They never handle Constitutional or Federal law. So there is a different criteria involved. Guiliani's priority in that case was to appoint people who were tough on crime, especially repeat offenders, and operate their courts honestly (of which there was a chronic shortage before he took office, thanks to his predecessors). So it's easy to draw the wrong conclusion from his appointment of many registered Democrats to the New York Courts.
"Can he supply a list of the constitutionalist judges he appointed as mayor?"
Apparently not. That bodes ill for his campaign. His record is going to be an issue. It shows a very liberal set of judicial appointments. It shows a long series of questionable and corrupt appointments. (Kerik being the most memorable.) It will show speech after speech praising democrats, supporting democrats and dissing conservatives. He is peaking as we speak.
