I also wonder how close to Amarillo that plant is? Why in the world don't they do that out in the desert?
Better yet why don't we dismantle them in the middle east somewhere?
Here's something else I found while looking for the population of Amarillo.
AMARILLO, Texas A federal judge in Amarillo today sentenced a former nuclear weapons courier to 30 months in prison in a fraud and weapons case.
Forty-one-year-old Joe Allen Sizemore in October accepted a plea agreement on counts of wire fraud and possession of an unregistered firearm.
Sizemore once held top secret clearance and helped protect nuclear weapons shipments at the Pantex plant near Amarillo.
A 31-count indictment returned in September alleged aiding and abetting wire fraud, theft of government property and possession of unregistered firearms.
Sizemore, between 2001 and 2005, did purchase requests for restricted items on Department of Energy letterhead. His supervisors signed the documents.
Prosecutors say Sizemore than posted the items for sale on the Internet.
Sizemore must report to prison on January eighth

http://www.newsadvance.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=LNA/MGArticle/LNA_BasicArticle&c=MGArticle&cid=1149192208536&path= on the plant situation. It's very troubling that it took a year and a half to be made public.
I'm off to work shortly........
Better yet why don't we dismantle them in the middle east somewhere? <<<
Excellent idea.
Have a good day at work.
If the fool is dumb enough to steal and sell on the internet, he deserves to go to jail.
