I think so, too. If Pelosi were a newly chosen corporate CEO and made so many bone-headed moves, the board would call in a psychiatrist and offer her a golden parachute, complete with mental health coverage.

The confusion of the DUmmies about all of these names (frequently misspelled) and identities (unknown to the DUmmies) is par for the course.

The other day, there was a thread in DUmmieland, and a DUmmie asked, "who's Patty Murray?"

A check of his profile showed he was a long-time DUmmie, with more than 40,000 posts.....and he didn't know one of the favorite DUmmie icons.

I know a liberal from another board. She's 19 years old, bisexual, claims to be muslim, and believes herself to be more politically savy than the rest of the world. She gets irritated with me because I won't take her seriously. I really get under her skin when I say I won't take political advice from children.

As a retired teacher, it doesn't surprise me this sub was allowed to teach for several weeks AND get paid for airing his personal views--so much of teaching has been overrun by liberals, it's such a shame, and it's run off a lot of really good teachers (not bragging, but myself included).

I had a wacko Spanish teacher who perceived all sorts of minor slights she was receiving from both the school and society in general. She never ceased blabbering about how horrible the USA was and how WONDERFUL Fidel's Cuba was in comparison. . . . Anyway, we students kept telling her that if she thought things were so great in Cuba then maybe she should move there. Guess what? That is exactly what she did.

It seems that Hoyer and Pelosi were Capitol Hill interns together over 40 years ago and something must have happened to push Pelosi over the edge where Hoyer was concerned. Was it a date gone bad or simply that Pelosi felt threatened by Hoyer's ambition?

Nancy was jealous that Gerry Studds hit on Steny instead of her.

Instead of supporting Jane Harman, the ranking Democrat member of the House Intelligence Committee, as the Chair of that Committee, Pelosi is supporting the formerly impeached Alcee Hastings for that slot.

Pelosi is placing Hastings in Harman's way.
