This has been an issue with feminists in Sweden for quite some time that men should, by law, have to sit when urinating as standing signifies a dominant male attitude that is passed on to boys from a heterosexist and patriarchal society. Not sure if this is the underlying motive for the Norwegian school but...

If making everyone seem equal is the goal, I say that any girl wanting to stand while urinating may do so--at her own risk, of course.
Maybe the "true feminists" will have to drill out their strap-ons to allow for a better aim as they attempt to hold their own.
I've been at events where women forced their way into the men's room to relieve themselves (more women took longer at fewer stalls in the women's room?). I can imagine they'd covet more relief options by being able to use the urinals.
