Then it can't have been a losing issue, either.
The pubs lost for several reasons. The hypocrisy of claiming to be for the rule of law and then allowing millions of illegals to invade our country was just one of them.
Imagine if they had actually forced the dems to filibuster nominations and bills instead of capitulating every time they whispered "filibuster"?
Imagine if they had gone out and talked about how the tax cuts were driving the economy?
Imagine if they had actually cut the federal budget instead of spending more on discretionary spending than any other congress/president combination in the history of the U.S?
Imagine if Bush had vetoed CFR instead of thinking the Supreme Court would take care of it for him?
Imagine if Congress had actually passed Social Security reform instead of running like cowards at the word "filibuster"?
Those are some that come to mind. But, the pubs lost because they sucked. Pure and simple.
So, given that every single thread I saw where these topics were posted? I don't recall seeing a single border bot on these. Usually, these subjects garnered a posting readership of about 10 posts.
If these were the winning issues as you posit? How do you explain, locally, lack of interest by Freepers?
