"This defeat was not the fault of Bush or Rove but was a failure all down the line."

You're right. But Bush was in charge. Hastert, Foley, Frisch, Mehlman and lot of others including McCain and his gang of thugs aggravates the problem.

"Conservatives did not desert the GOP, Independents and Moderates did ably assisted by the Treason Media's constant LIES."

I respectfully disagree with you. A large number of commentators, conservative and liberal, noted that conservatives were less than happy with the way the Administration was running things. They didn't have to vote for the Dem. All they needed to do was stay home.

I agree that the moderates and independents were seduced by typical mainstream liberal propaganda. But it was there in 2004 and 2000 and didn't work then. Other dynamics must have been involved.

"There is no difficulty explaining Iraq but none matters against the constant LIES of the Treason Media. How does a reasonable media HIDE an entire nuclear research program Saddam subcontracted to Libya ...........Treason Media used against the President."

Agreed. But the Administration failed to effectively employ those organs of public communication to explain ALL the fact - AGAIN and AGAIN to the mush-brained average voter. There was a whole HOST of issues which should have been rehearsed, revisited and drummed upon: the nuclear program, the weapons of mass destruction, the VIOLATION of the past Persian Gulf War agreement, the continual firing on aircraft enforcing the no-fly zone, the genocide against the Kurds, the attempt to assassinate a sitting President, the Al Quaida Training Camps, intelligence links to Oklahoma City, the strategic value of Iraq in a chain of terror operatives stretching from Afghanistan to Nigeria. YOU and I are well aware of all this. But John Q. Public is too wrapped up in Desperate Housewives, the World Series, etc, to be able to connect all the dots. Somebody has to do it for them.

"The election showed that the GOP can be painted as extremist and until we deal with that we will lose. "

I don't see it that way. Bush is a true "moderate" neither a liberal nor a conservative. To most Americans, the illegal alien issue, and what was perceived as a quagmire involvement with Iraq were the major issues. Now that the Dems control Congress, the problem is in their lap. Based on the perception of the election results among the Muslims, we can expect more attacks against Americans installations overseas and more attempts here. If Bush and the Repubs are smart and stick to their guns and play their cards right, they can blame the Dems for all the measures that they and liberal RINOs have implemented or attempted to implement for such results.

"Illegals are NOT a winning issue either as I said six months ago while the mobs were rampaging and hyperventilating."

Again, I respectfully disagree. If that were the case, there would be little or no local reactions to the flood of illegals overrunning our cities and towns. The response is snowballing - ordinances against renting to them, ordinances about English as an official language, etc, are spreading. Law enforcement agencies all over the country have had it with them - look at Joe Arapaio.

Entire business districts have been converted to traffic jamming pick-up zones for these people. They are infesting needed housing for American citizens with multiple individuals crowded into single occupancy apartments, they are blocking up emergency rooms at hospitals for routine medical care they can't pay for at doctors offices, they form a substantial number of the incarcerated population in jails and prisons. They have made life a nightmare for residents along our southern borders. They are running pot field in National Parks all over the Southwest. Nor are they here hat in hand. Their advocacy groups demand special treatment for them, they flaunt their foreign nationality in our faces with their flags and demonstrations.

"The utter falsity of your claim will be shown when amnesty sails through Congress because the House lost too many conservatives to stop it"

If the amnesty bill flies through Congress AFTER the elections, it merely support my contention that politicians were reluctant to approve such a measure BEFORE elections due voter opposition. But I doubt that amnesty will fly through Congress. The Repubs may filibuster it to kill it. Bush certainly will sign it - he doesn't get it or doesn't care apparently, at this point, based on his appointment of Martinez. Perhaps he is trying to solidify Hispanic support behind his brother if he decides to run.

"Not one vote was lost because of Meir nor should it have been even though her giving in to the howling mob was a shame."

Widespread opposition FROM THE REPUBLICAN BASE killed Mier, and I beleive she was totally unqualified for the position. Bush II has a serious defect in selecting people for positions based on family connections as family friends instead of on personal qualifications. I suspect he has made the same error in replacing Rumsfeld with Gates.

"Dubai ports was a perfect example of the Party of Treason using brainless conservatives to undermine the President. "

I'm sorry but I disagree here and I don't think people like Mark Levin, Bush supporter and Constitutional scholar and attorney are "brainless" dupes. Dubai is a small Arab Muslim state with BIG ambitions. Its ruled by a royal family in a part of the world which is very unstable politically and the feelings of the Dubai populace towards America are not benign. Like most Islamic populations, they hate us. Putting our ports under control of these people at this time and place when a coup could occur at any time was a stupid move. Schumer wouldn't have been able to make political hay of it had Bush merely dropped the thing as sonn as it was brought to his attention.

" there is NO chance of having a more conservative party in 08 particularly after this rejection of conservatives as extremists. "

Your continual interpretation of Tuesday's election results as a rejection of any political philosophy isn't even concurred with by moderate Democrats. They link their success to a few key areas: perceived scandals in Congress, an apparently unending commitment in Iraq, and illegal aliens.

"These are the people who hate EVERYBODY oppose EVERYBODY with even slight name recognition. These are the 5% of the party (if they are even Republicans which is not likely) which calls the other 95% "RINO"."

Check out the forum poll results about supporting McCain for President. Giuliani isn;t very know yet. Few people are aware of his anti-gun, pro-homosexual, pro-abortion, pro late term abortion, pro-illegal alien, pro-affirmative action positions. Fewer still are aware that he, as a Republican Mayor of New York, openly supported Democratic candidates for governor in New Jersey and New York, and campaigned cross country with Bill Clinton to support his "crime" bill. Once they are made aware of all this. his stock will drop like a lead ball among Republicans and independents. All they remember about him is his cameo performance during 9-1-1. But really, what exactly did he accomplish?

Conservatives do not stay home in such elections. Those who do are not conservatives no matter WHAT they call themselves. Nor to they vote on their happiness but on what is best for the nation. I don't know any real conservatives who believe allowing an increase in the power of the Party of Treason is acceptable.

There is only one Republican I know of capable of handling the media effectively and that is Guiliani. Almost all the rest are bumbling idiots.

Thanks to the DriveBy Media to the Public Bush is a far right extremist held in thrall by the Christian fundamentalists. No candidate can be elected nationwide that is more conservative until the Treason Media is neutered.

There are few cities in the country with more illegals than Chicago and it is a dead issue here. Anyone electing Democrats ANYWHERE in the country simply is not that concerned no matter what is passed. Passing tough sounding resolutions while electing those who will pour gasoline on the fire.
