Bump and ping! Diana Irey is going to be our next Republican star in Congress!

We’re close to a thousand volunteers. We’re at all the fairs. We’ve been door-knocking every weekend. And we’re hitting a lot of festivals.

THIS IS GREAT!! Even in the age of the internet and "media ad buys" nothing impresses a voter more than that one-on-one, "look 'em in the eye and ask for their vote", personal contact. Especially today when the average voter is soooooooo uninformed. I've heard people say: "Well, I voted for him/her because he/she came by my house and asked for my vote."

PEOPLE LOVE YOU WHEN YOU MAKE THEM FEEL THAT THEY ARE IMPORTANT AND THEY MATTER TO YOU.

Excellent. She should be writing the platform for the Republicans in 2006 and 2008. She goes beyond comparisons with Murtha. Compare what she has said here versus what Moi Kerry has said since he returned from Nam to the present.

I'm proud to be a contributor and supporter of this brave lady. Hopefully, all of us can be be contributors/supporters this year and for decades.

We were at the Italian Festival in Vandergrift on Sunday [Aug. 20]. And then we went to the Thunder Mountain Native American Festival & Pow Wow [in Saltzburg]. The door-knocking is going great. Every time we go, we get more volunteers. They’re excited about it and want to get involved in the campaign. We’re in parades, too. We’ve done a lot of parades. And we’re doing a lot of radio and TV.

That's fantastic to hear about so many volunteers!

Wow, Diana is really hitting the right issues! I just wish she had mentioned that the supposedly pro-life Murtha voted against trying to save Terri Schiavo's life and voted in favor of federal funding of embryo-killing stem-cell research, and that Murtha has voted against protecting our borders. She could have also slipped in a bit about Murtha's involvement in ABSCAM when talking about congressional ethics.
