Why Success in Iraq is So Important

On Monday, President Bush said the war in Iraq war is "straining the psyche of our country," but leaving Iraq now would be a disaster. The President is right on both accounts.

But with the stalemate in the recent Israel-Hezbollah war and the expectation that today Iran will thumb its nose at an offer from the international community about staying its nuclear program, success in Iraq is more important than ever.
