Happy anniversary, though I'm not sure why you'd excerpt your own work, except as a motive to drag people to your blog.
As for your supposition, alas, your point is valid only due to our incredible success. Basically rolled over two nations in a matter of months with minimal casualties - there's a reason why people hardly think about it. Why think about terrorism when it seems like it's half a world away? (and mostly is.)

Perhaps Americans might finally wake up to the reality that the President cannot simply snap his fingers and order everything in the world to your complete satisfaction?
Really tired of this perpetual whining at Bush. The President is NOT a god ok? He cannot simply snap his fingers and make everything exactly the way they should be. Considering the utter treason by the Junk Media and their Democrat Party masters, American should be grateful to Bush for doing the right thing so long. It would of been REAL easy for the President to simply throw up his hands in disgust with all the Perpetual Whiners in BOTH party's and say "The heck with all of you".

...he has NOT succeeded in convincing enough of the country that a global terrorist war is ongoing against us, and that we Americans are in mortal danger.No... no he hasn't. However... much of that job is the responsibility of the concerned, American citizen and their free, uncompromised press.
I suggest you broaden your search... for the guilty.
