Border Patrol Agents Warn: Bush Plan is a 'Trojan Horse'

Border Patrol Agents Warn: Bush Plan is a Trojan Horse --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By Jim Kouri May 18, 2006

In a joint statement, members of the US Border Patrol, Local 2544, called President George W. Bush's border security and illegal immigration plan a Trojan Horse.

"Every day that President Bush and the Senate hold real border security hostage to their misguided amnesty program, thousands upon thousands of illegal aliens continue to flood into the country. Make no mistake, most of them get by us. We are losing this war, and it's not even close. Contact your senators and congressmen now. Tell them to secure the border and tell them to reject amnesty programs (so called 'guest-worker')," said member agents.

The agents said that Bush and the US Senate don't "get it," but Republicans in the US House of Representatives "get it." The American people "get it."

Border Patrol agents point out the illegal immigration problem is a simple issue to solve: Shut the border down to illegal aliens crossing into the US, then begin "hammering" the greedy employers who hire them.

"It's not complicated, folks," they stress.

Promising more amnesty is not going to dissuade anyone from coming into the US illegally.

The Border Patrol agents then turned their ire towards the President. They say his post-speech propaganda trip to Yuma, Arizona is a carefully planned PR stunt. There are a lot of very wealthy farmers in the Yuma area who dominate the local economy and have been using the cheap labor of illegal aliens to build their wealth for many years. Bush speaks their language.

The agents add, "The American people should also know that any 'statements' or 'comments' from top-level Border Patrol managers should be taken with a grain of salt. They say what they're told to say. Period."

The Border Patrol also noted that "President Bush is doing back flips to assure the hypocritical El Presidente Fox that America will not 'militarize' the border."

"We didn't realize that Fox was running things here. Is the Mexican government paying for any of this? Of course not. Further, Fox has already "militarized" the border. Mexico has plenty of troops on the border. We know this because we see them all the time and they shoot at us with rather large .50 caliber rifles. All we can do is hope their aim is bad, run from them, and then watch as the cowards from our government hide from the issue, and their government lies about them even being there.

"So........if Fox is so concerned with the 'militarization' of the border perhaps he should start on his side of the border. Fox needs to learn that the United States of America is a sovereign nation and has the absolute right to secure its borders. Fox does not have the right to dictate our internal policies. He uses his consulate officers to harass us, file lawsuits, and use every trick in the book to undermine border security so he can continue to send millions upon millions of his citizens over here to send millions upon millions of dollars back to him."

According to Senator Ted Kennedy, Americans support amnesty for illegal aliens. "Hey Teddy, we are Americans, and we don't support anything you're doing. You are a disgrace. Make sure you count us out when you lie to everyone about the "broad support" your amnesty plan enjoys,"said the Border Patrol agents.

Therefore, the republicans know they have us just where they want us. Where can we go?

You can go down to defeat if you like...For me? I'll vote conservative...Hopefully, within the party, but I will vote conservative regardless...

Have to get rid of that mentality that some are not electable...Everyone is electable if people will vote for them...Vote for the Conservative...

I knew Cesar Chavez. His first office was in Lamont Ca. where I grew up. As a girl when we got out of the movie theatre we used to go to his office for candy. He always had a huge bowl of penny candy for the kids.
Cesar Chavez was also adamantly against illegal immigration.

That's right, I agree with you tell all the moonbat's you don't like to sit out the next election. That way you can keep your illegal house maid or what-ever.

Not only is it appropriate. It's their obligation. They're the ones who put themselves on the line. The ones risking their lives. They're the ones actually trying to keep the invaders out. Not Bush or the Senate

They have credibility, regardless of the fact that they belong to a union.

Go back and read the debates.

Don't have to...The moderators never even asked a question about illegal immigration...

you're so stupid

I see you are smart enough to read this form's policy about personal attacks. Yes, it sure is easy to get people to join you on your own personal little hate train.

Yes, I remember how Bush serenaded Fox and family AFTER he was elected. People on this site claim that he was upfront about amnesty and the guest worker program before he was elected. I just want to see the links and refresh my memory as I don't recall.

A fun site, they left the AFL/CIO, though still belong to the less political (yet Dem oriented) AFGE.

Lots of people think bombast is persuasive. I don't.

The unions in California have a death grip on the legislature and are pushing a socialist agenda that I have fought for years. I have been on the front lines fighting the unions in California. When Chavez died in 1993 the UFW became as corrupt as all other unions and lost their vision and direction. While they may be irrelevant in a political sense, they are still a metaphor for the plight of the farmworker and you still see their recruiting flag flown in the fields. Missing in the illegal immigration rights marches was the red flag with black eagle. I have not followed the UFW since my father-in-law died in 2004 so I readily admit my knowledge is somewhat dated. My question however is still pertinent.

Why is the UFW, still a metaphor for the plight of the farmworker, so obvious in it's absence from the illegal immigration discussions?

Why are the unions not speaking out against illegal immigration? Seems the unions are losing membership possibilities if illegals consume the jobs.

They dont have to benefit immediately. As long as America is morphed into a quasi-socialist utopia, they're satisfied. The illegals contribute towards this goal in the long run (doing the work that they...well..)

Salinas was the only time I ever got to meet him. He was very soft spoken and humble. I understand he often stayed in peoples houses rather than hotels. When you see port-a-potties in the fields, Caesar Chavez had them put there.

I never heard of anyone saying they would vote for someone they hadn't even heard of yet.

I have... but they were all Democrats...

"However, the repubs know that the defacto guest workers/illegals have helped the economy"

Please tell me exactly how they have helped the economy. Do you have any idea what they cost for education, health care and other social services? Who fills our prisons? With what group do the police and justice systems spend the bulk of their resources on in the border states? Please be specific.

"Translation from the union: "We want higher salaries."

Your reaction is as pathetically knee jerk as the typical liberal's. You're going to dismiss anything he has to say just because he's in a union? Well stick your fingers in your ears and hum "union, union, union" and I guess you won't hear anything unpleasant.
