This is nothing more than a call for open borders.
In early Spring of 2005 the Mexican SER directed all U.S. based Mexican consulates to conduct surveillance on border activists including those involved in the Minuteman Project, to interact with all levels of the leadership of American institutions involved with border enforcement including law enforcement, and transmit that information back to the Fox government.
Whereas it was believed that this activity was only taking place in limited areas the documents make it clear that Mexican consulates have been active in a massive surveillance and information gathering program throughout the United States - in Arizona, California, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Illinois, Massachusetts and Tennessee, detailing the activities and identifying American citizens and border activist groups by name and reporting back to Mexican authorities.
The following an example of the toadying response by American officials, including State governors and Border Patrol officials.
"...28 of June civil employees of the Consulate of Mexico in Albuquerque met with Bill Hume, Head of Political Advisers of Bill Governor Richardson. In this meeting it was agreed that the government of the state will insist that the solution to immigration, as well as the application of immigration laws, is a subject of federal and not state character. It also explained that in case that a Minuteman breaks the state laws, the state will take drastic action. Governor Bill Richardson declared that "he disavows the Minuteman group in New Mexico because authorities in charge of the application of the law in the South border of the state already exist." Spokesman of the Sector Paso of the Border Patrol of the United States opposes the activities of the Minuteman Project." As these documents and others are more fully understood an alarming picture is becoming clear.
Not only is the American government failing to maintain any semblance of border control and security, but it appears that there is active cooperation between American officials - at all levels, federal, state and local, and the government of Vicente Fox to provide intelligence on American citizens to that foreign government with the intent of undercutting enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.

It looks like the frenzy will NOT be abating today....
Inland Valley Daily Bulletin Inaccurate:

This is outrageous!!!
That is the claim. However, details still unfolding. Daily Bulletin follow-up report:
Attention all Bush Bots: Blame this on clinton / carter / liberals / Pelosi since they obviously have been at the helm for the past 5 years.
Yes, it doesn't look like we have the full picture as yet. This seemed like a good place to include other information on the issue.
You'll forgive me if I'm a bit sceptical of the official denial in light of the government's previous demeanor toward the Minute Men, and the unrestrained fury this story has raised among the administration's erstwhile staunchest supporters.
More confusion ping.
Why don't we wait to discover the facts? You can always do that later.
This whole border issue is gonna pop like a frog on a hot plate.
Good luck...you are very brave.
The President has called them vigilantes too.
Sure they are and our Gov. is the one that brings them in while they charge us for a war on drugs.
And it shouldn't!
I didn't see anything in small print on the ballot when I voted that I am voting for the mexican govt.
I didn't happen to notice that the mexican govt was a choice on my AMERICAN BALLOT. I thought as a CITIZEN of the U.S.A. when I vote for a party I am voting for Americans to PROTECT, SUPPORT, and WORK FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!
You all who come on threads like this and HIJACK them with your rah rah c*ap can go on one of your rah rah threads and stop hijacking this one!
To discover that the govt MIGHT BE in collusion with a foreign govt against Americans is disturbing at the very least. I am not saying they are and I am not saying they aren't but as I said I expect elected politicians to work for their constituents!
This is still the United States of America and as voters we expect certain things, like PROTECTING its citizens, protecting our ports our borders and our country from all terroists, and enemies foreign and domestic, to provide security and jobs and well being and QUIET ENJOYMENT and ENFORCE OUR LAWS NOT mexicos laws!
To try to convince mexico the people they are pushing over the border out of their country that their civil rights are being observed is the most outrageous thing I have heard bar none!
<.......... the "rights" of Mexican nationals under state and federal laws be protected.............>
That is the part that bugs me !!!!!!!
You're right! That is definitely a major factor.
I'm not taking a position. I don't know enough yet, but I thought it would be useful to gather as much information here as we have.
I dont know what's driving it, But our politicians of both partis have decided that they know better then the American public what we need, and it would seem they feel we cant make it without Hispanics coming in and taking over the country.
Now President bush is just as responsible as the rest, there can be no doubt of that, but this isnt a party issue its us against the politicians of both parties who would kiss the ass of Satan to stay in office.
We are beimng sold down the drain for the Hispanic vote and the only way we can beat it is to vote the other way,but I dont see it happening and neither do the politicians.
