As Limbaugh said today, the President isn't a conservative he is a politician. He proves it every day with stunts like the Harriet Miers nomination. SHE WITHDREW HER FRIGGIN' NOMINATION!!
This pounding on Bush and Miers is just gratuitous piling on at this point.
It makes those who do it look mean and ridiculous.

When I Hear him give up on the ROP canard, and admit shamnesty is a bad idea, I will again take pride in the eight votes I have given him.
Were he able to run in 2008, I would again be willing to vote for him..
There is however, no clothespin large enough to cover the stench of McCain.

To withdraw means to have been asked to pack it in. In D.C. it is a way of falling on your sword without drawing blood. You don't tell any President of the U.S. that you won't step down. Not only is it bad form but it costs you for the rest of your career.
Harriett was booted, pure, plain and simple.
