"IT'S NOT NICE TO MESS WITH REPUBLICANS"
Maybe now they will understand that their voice IS NOT to be heard, but buried....

Strange, if this had happened to a Republican broadcaster, she (sorry for the gender error) would have been FLOODED with compensatory funds in order to keep that message going out. Liberals are constantly on a shoestring budget, depending on volunteer efforts, grassroots support and the occasional large doantion (Where the hell is George Soros when you need him?) That's the difference between liberal and conservative media machines. One is funded and the other barely survives. The DUmmie lament. Nobody wants to pay money (read advertizers) to hear our crap, so we have to beg pennies from the 'enlightened' to broadcast it.
Conservative radio is successful because the advertizers make money off of it. It is fueled and funded because of the conservatives who make up the huge audiences, while the leftwingnut shows slowly die on the vine while begging for 'donations'. If their message was appealing, the audience would grow and advertizers would support them. Simple business facts.
Benburch and this woman are perfect examples. They archive leftwing crapola rants from unknown wingnuts on obscure, underpowered stations and stream it over the net to no one. It's just a movement of electrons lost in space with zero meaning or audience.

I wish I could raise the whole bit myself and hand off a giant check... but I will kick this message so that others can see it. I wish I had that spare $10 of mad money to contribute, but I'll just kick you while you're down.

A funny thread, as always. But there is a slight, serious side.
I live on a mountain that the locals call "lightning knob" because of the number of strikes it takes. For some odd reason, despite surge protectors and various precautions, fax machines are particularly vulnerable to lightning strikes.
I've lost three fax machines, and finally gave up having one on premises. Fortunately, none of the computers or peripherals have suffered any damage. Go figure....
P.S. I have an early primary for Congress in the 11th District of North Carolina, 2 May, less than a month away. visit my website in the tagline, and help however you can.

Yeah. I plan on using that pic a lot of Maryscott O'Crazed with the kitchen knife. She must have gotten upset by that image of Li'l Beaver on her computer screen.

The station will limp along like this for the next few weeks (or as long as it can) but without emergency fundraiser of $5000 minimum that won't last very long.
I have often wondered: which comes first the mental illness or the liberalism? Now I know....these people have to be the most gullible, stupid, mentally ill people on the planet!
Too bad I can't stand being around them...I could probably make some money.

Oh my goodness. I'm one of those radiopower users. How horrible... I wish I could raise the whole bit myself and hand off a giant check... but I will kick this message so that others can see it. Boy you could have at least asked mommie for a $10 advance on your allowance.

Whatever happened to the smoking beaver? Look carefully at the pic above and you will see him.

I hear a thunderstorm approaching and I UNPLUG my computer from the wall. I also unplug if I know of one predicted.I have to say that I have seldom unplugged things, and I live in a frequent thunderstorm area. I do turn off everything electronic, and it's all plugged into UPS and surge protectors.
In thirty years of doing this, I've had one surge protector fried to ashes, and no damage to any electronic devices.
It may be a good policy, but I don't know of anyone who unplugs.

I unplug. What's the big deal? It gives me a level of comfort when a storm strikes. About 10 days ago a HUGE thuderstorm hit. Lots of lightning (even hail). However, I had the comfort of knowing that back at home, my computer was unplugged.

The Viking Kitties have taken control of your computer. Do not try to adjust it, use the mouse and for heaven's sake, don't try Ctrl + Alt + Delete!

According to benburch, a lightening bolt destroyed the entire computer system servicing his Leftwing radio "empire."
Actually, I'm sure that the public library where his computer "empire" is headquartered, will probably get new PCs soon. Won't hurt him to get out in the natural sunlight for a little while either...

BTW, speaking of internet radio, I believe we can listen to the John Gibson interview with this Moonbat tonight via online streaming radio.

Charles Henrickson is just $10 away from posting on this DUFU. I'd be willing to send $10 to get Charles to post. His taglines are always a bolt from the blue.
If $10 could buy me 10 hours, then I'd be doing a full-blown DUFU right now. But money can't buy me time. Too much to do today. And then conferences the rest of the week.
One other thing: Peej, aren't you being a little hard on the Beaver? I mean, putting him with the crazy woman with the knife and the blood? Personally, I thought it was just as FUnnie the way mikrofon did it last night:

A DUmmie moonbat getting all worked up when she stumbles across the DUFUs! Now if you guys can just put the Beav on the LARGE version of the pic, THAT would be a classic that could be used on many a DUFU edition:

My building was struck by lightning during a storm that suddenly rolled in around 10 pm last night. It was a pretty freaky experience. I could actually hear and feel the pulsing of electricity. It wiped out computers, servers, 10 drives, archive files, mixer consols, and started a small electrical fire. I'm in the process of determining what's lost and what can be saved. I've managed to take apart a server and 3 fried desktop computers and use the parts to get the RadioPower main server back online. The station will limp along like this for the next few weeks (or as long as it can) but without emergency fundraiser of $5000 minimum that won't last very long.Talk about a perfect Rovian storm!!!
