Even a clear majority in a blue state has had it with the trampling of property rights.

This statement is exactly what the Court's are supposed to do. Anything more would be "legislating from the bench." The State Supreme Court's job is to interpret the law and Constitution of Oregon. Interpretation of the Federal Constitution should be left to the federal courts. It sounds like Oregon's Supreme Court got it right on this one.
