I discovered Palma Luoca during a personal taste test. At a Latin market one day, I bought beers from all over South America to sample them. One bottle of each brand. Some were pretty good. However, when I got to the bottle of Palma Luoca, it was WAY BEYOND the other beers. So good that I thought I bought a freak bottle so I went back to the market to buy a six pack of the stuff. It wasn't a freak bottle. And ever since I have been a Palma Luoca drinker. No other beer comes close, IMHO

How far into the test were you before you got to the Palma? In my beer drinking days, after the 3rd it didn't matter if I was drinking panther pee.

I spaced it out about an hour between beers. Then just to make sure I was accurate, I went back to the store a couple of days later and bought more Palma Luocas and learned that I wasn't wrong. BTW, I also ran taste tests against Kirin beer. I like Kirin beer but Palma Luoca still came out ahead when I compared the two.
