I have stopped using Google entirely for this and other reasons. I use A9.com and thereby get a discount on my Amazon purchases. I see no real diference in the quality and breadth of my search results.

Another gripe against Google.

It is curious -- perhaps not really -- that on Google Earth's map of the Middle East, every nation is listed except for one. Can you guess which one it is? google earth Middle east

So, you post a link to a google map of Saudi Arabia and complain about the lack of detail for Israel? I've got my own problems with google but that ain't one of them. Google did in fact agree not to show a high level of detail of several sites in Israel that are militarily sensitive. If they were anti-Israel, would they have done so?

Thanks for the A9.com tip...as soon as I read this I uninstalled my Google toolbar, will not use their search engine, and hope their stock value drops like a rock. This disgusting affront to freedom and democracy deserves the harshest response from citizens of the free world. It's very simple - use an alternate search engine, it won't kill you, at the worst maybe it'll add .00001 seconds to your search result time.

Bahrain
Israel (which was probably your point)
Sudan
