I'm betting on Monday morning ---AP Story----Bush Helps Texas, Ignored New Orleans, People Outraged

Posted on 09/21/2005 12:22:12 PM PDT by LexHoskin

I saw this posted on another board, but I was thinking the same thing. You know if Rita hits Texas as a huge storm, but there isn't nearly the same amount of "so-called" disorganization with FEMA and help, the Dems will just jump on the "Well Duh, Bush will do everything in his power to help Texas, just not New Orleans."

I'm calling it now.

I have a strong feeling that the state of Texas has more competent state and city leadership than New Orleans. Did any of you hear on Fox and Friends this morning, that when Kanya West or whatever his name is, made the comment about Bush hating blacks, the Red Cross got over 1,000 phone calls from people withdrawing their donations?

I think its high time they start telling the MSM to take a hard look at the difference between LA and Texas Governors and the policies in place. GOP and President continue to let the MEDIA get away with outright lies. Was it Honroe (sp) who told them to get off being stupid.

That Nagin and Blanco continue to put in their digs. I am so mad at the libs mouthing off and GOP is sitting there covering their ears, eyes and mouths. NO one seems to be backing our President.

galveston = rich white folks. new orleans = poor black folks.

Mr. West and his racist buddies and gals have set Black people in this country back fifty years. You ought to get a real pulse read out there, not the BS the MSM is feeding you. The race card ain't working at all. In fact, it has made millions of people angry including other minorities. Black folk, poor souls, just don't get it!!! They have been used and abused by their leaders and the Democrat "Slave" Party, and they are too stupid or blind to see it!!! What a shame!!! If only they had some real leadership and honest direction!!!

I say let Bush order a mandatory evacuation for poor African Americans. Then he needs to drive a bus into Galveston personally and pick them up. Then, he can take some to the White House to stay temporarily.
He can throw money, water and MRE's out the window to others as he drives by. He should have Condi Rice Rumsfeld and Rove all following in busses as well. What would the MSM say then?

Exactly- which goes to illustrate the point that no matter what he does in the situation, it will be spun negatively by the MSM.

I think the best plan for Mr. Bush would be to send the following to the Gulf Coast let them stand on the shore and all the hot air from them would blow Rita down to Mexico ---- Nagin, Blanco,, Ried, Landrieu, Kerry, and the fat rat Kennedy.

I have heard the "news" about how President Bush created Hurricane Katrina with some geomagnetic forces and how he kept the "poor blacks" from leaving New Orleans and now he takes care of Texans because it's his home state. One must be reading the Enquirer to believe this stuff, where they want him to appear to be a drunk. They claim that our Capitalism and Imperialism is bad and want us to live the wonderful life with socialism and communism. Then they invent Cindy Sheehan! To make matters worse there are plenty of stupid people that don't know anything except what some other idiot else tells them and know nothing about our history or current events for that matter. To them that are illiterate let me help you. There is no electromagnetic device to control the weather or why would our President allow it to hit his home state of Texas. People, not just poor blacks, died in New Orleans because the mayor is an idiot and the Governor (a democrat) refused federal aid for almost a week although FEMA was ready and standing by. Yes the President got drunk a few times before he was 40, who hasn't? To say he still does as the Enquirer claims is a lie to sell mags. Socialism is a Democrat thing that was once tried in Russia and failed. Capitalism is a Republican thing and what our country was founded with and still is the backbone of our country. Cindy Sheehan is an idiot for those that want to permote communism in the United Stated and can be easily linked to China and other socialist. I do believe in a two party system but I would rather both to believe in our capitalist system in which a person can make all the money they wish, legally, or sit on their butt and make nothing. We have a working system here not a governmental work program. Certainly we need to take care of those that can not work or is no longer be productive due to age or health, this is the exception and should never be the rule. Sheehan dishoners her own son who died for what he believed was right. She is truly a very wicked woman and not one to put any faith in. One more thing, God Bless You All!

I made the mistake of checking out DU awhile ago. Believe it or not, they are running a story from "The Enquirer" (I think that was the name...one of those trash newspapers, IMO). And a sad story it is, too. I did not believe it, nor do I intend to dignify even mentioning what the article was about. I assume it will be on the cover of the latest enquirer in the next day or two.

Breaks my heart how the bottom feeders are so gleefully piling on President Bush now.
