The woman I was referring to in my post #64 was Black; The one I refer to in post #112 was Caucasion. So we're not singling out one particular ethnic group.
One crying Black man from Biloxi was interviewed on Thursday by a female CNN reporter. He was the one who said he couldn't hold onto his wife any longer. She yelled to him to take care of the children and grandchildren, as she was swept away by the flood waters. The reporter was crying, then I was crying. He just cried; he didn't complain. CNN interviewed this wonderful man again yesterday. He said that people are sending him checks from as far away as England. His name is Hardy Jackson from Biloxi. He held a tattered photograph of his wife, recovered from the ruins of his house, and said she was a good person. He touched my heart.
