-- "I just printed off your story to send to my dad. I think he'll like it." --
I was thinking today I'm going to need a few more if I want to bring out an anthology. I never was one for short stories. Sometimes they just come to me.
Here's the rest of the collection...
Your Weight And Fortune ... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-backroom/1306051/posts?page=9018#9018
The Story Candler of Jasons Harbor (04/23/2005)... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1388771/posts?page=134#134
At the Aiport ... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-backroom/1163131/posts?page=40939#40939
Then there's one called "To Build A Fire: Part Two" -- I'll have to look for that.
Thanks for the links. I'll check those out (some sound familiar). This last one reminded me of conversations with Dad and my uncle, of the "What would happen if ...?" variety. My uncle, particularly, is a mad-scientist type; he once had a plan to put a blimp on top of Buffalo Stadium. It didn't go anywhere, but he'd done the math to show why it was a great idea!
As I keep telling Anoreth, it's hard to get a short story together, beginning, middle, and end, without a lot of extraneous fluff.
Do these stories connect with the snow maker? or are they separate short stories, Bob?
