Not if you're lost after sunset...which happened to me when I was 12.

"I used to think your non-responses were because of something I said."

Nothing you say would cause such to happen. I am impervious to insult, being extraordinarily dense, rather like Superman.

I tend to be somewhat wordy in my responses, however, and this can cause delay. Another thing that can happen is the intrusion of my real world family into my FReeper life!

How extremely annoying.

LOL!

When my daighter was about 12, she was cleaning the kitchen sink, and said she couldn't get the stain out. Knowing her innate ability to do a job with as little energy wasted as possible, I told her to use some elbow grease. (I was in the living room.)

It was real quiet in the kitchen for a few minutes, and then I hear, "Where is it, Mom?"
"Where is what?"
"The elbow grease. I can't find it under the sink."

Of course. If you knew the Dog Rules, they wouldn't be any fun.

Golly...I wish I could write it...it's a straight line (fence) and all you see is a hand on either side of a bald head, and of the head, all you can see are the eyes, and the nose hanging over the fence.

The sign below says, "Kilroy was here."
If memory serves me correctly, it was a WWII joke...someone named Kilroy was always "there" first.

Or maybe a great chef. :-)

"They have a whole set of rules that I am not in on."

Their recreation is like ours, the threatening is replaced by the non-threatening, but the world remains the same.

A bite is a bite, a chase is a chase. It's the same rule we use in a horror movie. We're scared, but we're safe.

LOL!

Must you be so rational? Can't you just throw in a bit of whimsy?

The smoke is dissipating, and the party is fine.
It's her last get together with friends , here.

She's "moving out" on Monday.

*SOB*
apparently, I am not authorized to cry before moving day.

*sucking it up*

Yes.
They are a bunch of friends, and with the sound of all the laughter down there, I don't think they would be listening to it anyway. :-)

Life is beautiful.
