The first one I think might have been for Pepto-bismol. It was definitely an antacid.

The second was Pepsodent toothpaste. There's a song from the late 50s, kind of jazzy vocalese style on that jingle.

I don't remember who did the We've only just begun one.

I also liked the "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" campaign.

One that has stuck in my head since I was six or seven was for Neet dipilatory:

The jingle went "Shave lady?" (to a woman sitting in a barber chair"

"Don't do it!" (the barber's drape is whisked away."

And as she dances off into happily ever after land, the jingle continues, "Cream hair away the beautiful way with Neet. N-E-E-T Neet!"

Why I would remember this since I was a kid, I have no idea.

LOL.
Well, I was wandering around, helped rewire a phone outlet.
And am doing...
...laundry!

*Cue "Psycho" shower scene theme music*

Maybe because I've had them crawl over my face, and look me in the eye. We have "Wolf spiders".

OTOH, I live in the country, and the spiders are everywhere. I try to concentate on their mosquito and fly killing abilities. :-)

All my lps, including my beloved Quadrophenia got burned in a fire.

Just as well. I wouldn't have anything to play them on today.

Oh My!

Go get them on CD at Wal-mart.
The 'record' would have been bent by now anyway. ;-)

Uh-oh. Laundry and *horse whinny in background* pop-up storms. GASP!

Did you tell your family members to take a hike while this was happening? I hope?

And let them gather power in the storms?
Heck no, that power is MINE!
;-)

Ww have wolfs, but not as many as I grew up around, and hobos and black widows in the area. I haven't seen any black widows, but have seen hobos. Lots of'em in our juniper hedges, too.

If they are being a pain, I smush them. If not, I can live and let live. That's not how I feel about the big outdoors cockroaches, though. Those can give me the willies.

I have been trying to replace my records, but some of them are hard to find and very expensive when I find them, and some are not on CD yet. Which is not a problem, as I have a stereo with a turntable which I bought a couple of years ago.
I just need to be able to get to the places they are...or have them come by mail...

Oh. Yah. I forgot about that part. *sigh* Well, do the best you can. Maybe the bats will help this time.

I can attest to the fact that NEET never worked.

LOL!

I could never afford it. So I did things the old fashined way...the older I get, though, the less hair I have, so I shave my legs about once a year.

I liked Nair myself, but mostly I avoided the chemical processes. Messy.

Razors, though, have come a long, long way since I was a girl.
