Okers.
I'm okay now.
You just had to tell everyone...
;-)
Oh, and welcome to the RKBA, AAC. That was the official ceremony. Um, wait... the announcement was the official ceremony. There will be no ...
So how's the weather?
Thank ye, m'lord!
Dry and sunny with a chance of dry and sunny.
I figure if we just put pictures of guys in front of you that will keep you from being stuned too long. ;-)
Oh come on...LOTR is not for everyone. Even the movies, after the first one, are unwatchable. :-)
We actually had a little rain for the first time in a few weeks here. Going through a bit of a drought.
If you start with THE HOBBIT, you'll NEVER read the rest. You'll be fast asleep. Trust me, it's better than anything to bore you into slumber. hehehehehehehe
Strawberry tarts and champagne for everyone. :-)
LOL!
I wonder what would happen if we put one of my pictures in the same ping with a picture of a guy.
I like tarts...
When I was 22 ( yeah, before the FLOOD!), everyone was reading LOTR and gushing about how great it was. Everyone said to me : "OH, it's just the kind of thing you'll love!" Unhunh...yeah, riiiiiiiiiight.
I bought the boxed set and THE HOBBIT, sat myself down, prepared to love, love, LOVE it. I fell asleep. I tried to read it again. No luck; I was bored to tears.
Fast forward a bunch of decades. The movies come out. My s-i-l buys the DVDs and says : "Okay mum, you'll LOVE this." I liked the first one...well sort of. I started to watch the second one, couldn't understand a word that thing who keeps saying :"MY PRECIOUS" and GOD only know what, kept rewinding to re-listen, got more and more annoyed and said the heck with it, about 1/3 in and refuse to see the third and last movie.
Now I've LOVED Sci-Fi stuff all of my life; fantasy and mythology too. Mad for the Arthurian Legend and Robin Hood, since I was a toddler. Swashbuckle movies have also always been a favorite of mine too. By all rights, I should enjoy LOTR; I HATE IT. Go figure. :-)
Down boy...I'm the Dowager Queen and keeper of the dungeons here. All you'll get from me is food. Here, have another tart and get yourself some more champagne. LOL
