I have a friend who came to this country legally (from Europe) and is still going through the process not to say the expense to become a citizen.

I find it is unfair to those that come here the just and legal way and wait for years for finalization. I am sorry but "thems that breaks the law must accept the consequences. There cannot be any exceptions. Those arrests also cost the taxpayer $1700 (MOL) for "each" arrest of said illegals; however many are not arrested, but just turned back into Mexico.

I am sorry that this is not what you want to hear. You have personal emotions tied up in this scenario. But illegal is just what is describes-Illegal. People make bad choices in life and wind up paying down the road. They think of themselves and not the people that it may effect.
