Executive privilege was evoke on details of Cheney's task force. The task force was sued by Judicial Watch and I think, the Sierra Club among others...The Supremes sent it back to the appellate court.
In May 2005, the appellate court ruled the energy task force headed by Vice President Richard Cheney does not have to release its records under a federal disclosure law because groups comprised entirely of federal employees are exempt.
