"Her reasoning is how important Andy is."Hmm...
Let me soak up that statement for a second...
Nope, still nothing.
Can anyone tell me what is so important about scAmdy? Thanks in advance.

I make very few posts but i watch these threads about Andyfor a reason.I have found out that a very gullible young woman has donated 2 and possibly 3 child support checks to this "cause" Her reasoning is how important Andy is.I want to know all about this as I decide whether to tell her ex husband where his childs money is going
And Andy has yet to say thank you to his contributers even once. In fact I am sure he considers them suckers.

But if they don't care, why do you? For three reasons:
- Con artists are a detriment to society in general -- they prey on people's best instincts and serve to erode the trust that people have in their neighbors
- The falsified use of cancer to prey on people's sympathy is patently offensive, especially to those of us who have lost loved ones to real cancer
- The DUmmies are so fun to watch talking about the so-called obvious "fraud" in the 2004 elections, while being conned by a second-rate internet fundraising scam
So, why do you care that we care?

Glad I could be of amusement to you.
(By the way, the first comment was not aimed at you it was aimed at the thread, but I am new here and screwed it up)

Well lets see...The incision is still tender...but my appetite is coming back and I am regaining more of my strength every day. I got back home late last night and it was awesome to sleep in my own bed again. Thanks for asking and for the concern! It has meant so much to me what DU has done for me. You all rock. I still have another pahse of treatment but the doctor is confident I will make a full recovery. Mentally I am in that space and truly, I am feeling better everyday.
[Recuperation from NON-CANCEROUS pancreatic surgery is fairly rapid, Scamdy. BTW, why no thank you to all the suckers you conned for a Johns Hopkins pancreatic cancer operation that you did NOT need?]
This whole thing reminds me of the Seinfeld episode with Kramer watching the coma movie video. At the end, you hear the woman who just woke up from a long coma, "I feel so refreshed!"
It's just ridiculous. Then again, the core of the dummie is immature and does nothing but play make believe. They will all continue to pretend that one bounces right back from pancreatic cancer surgery.

We have always stated that if Andy is sick, we wish a full recovery. We never wished him a painful death like you guys did for Laura Ingraham when you found out she had cancer.
To: Xaos
Tombstoned? We don't tombstone people here.
It's just interesting to watch. The level of emotional maturity is so low at DU that you all do nothing but play in a world of make believe; i.e. our amusement at the "I believe" threads, this forced belief that little Andy just had surgery for pc, etc. Reality is harsh. It's amusing, and at times amazing, to watch people who don't want to deal with reality. Our main problem is that you have a whole political party trying to put your unrealistic ideas and goals into practical use.

Apparently that is one of the side effects of pancreatic surgery...changed tasteNotice the wording here. Pancreatic surgery... no mention of.. "pancreatic cancer" which was the hue and cry of the fundraiser...'Andy's gonna die of pancreatic cander if we don't get him to John's Hopkins NOW...'

I'm sure I will be tombstoned for having a differing opinion than the people on this site, but oh well, such is life
No, the reason it will happen is that your inner nature will boil over at some point, because you won't be able to control your effete disdain for those "less enlightened" than yourself - and you'll post the vile rant that WILL get you zotted.
So, how much money did Andy snooker YOU for? How much did Bev Harris get from you?

If you didn't donate money, why the hell do you care? My wife died of cancer a little over two years ago. When I saw the blatant lies being put out through the Scamdy surrogates, I became enraged that someone would prey on one of our societies deepest fears to raise money. That sir is why I care.
If this was the only reason you signed up her at FR, then you have had your say and can now exit. If you want to stay and become part of the community, do so and we welcome alternate veiw points here, as oppposed to the herd think at DU.

I have donated to neither. Unless it could be proved beyond a doubt, I'm always skeptical, But I just don't understand the downright meanspiritedness here.

That's because you've mischaracterized it. Laughing at pancreatic cancer patients and the people who donate to them WOULD be meanspirited. Laughing at scam artists and the suckers who fall for them is merely sport.

"But I just don't understand the downright meanspiritedness here."
Asking questions is not 'mean.' If you want to know 'meanspiritedness' go back to DU where you have wished for the death of our soldiers, rejoiced at Ronald Reagan's death, and wished for a painful death for Laura Ingraham. These are only the tip of the iceberg.
