Scott is one of the Mods.
I've never had a problem with him. We get along fine.
In fact Until today...I've NEVER had a problem with any of the Mods. Here or at CU.

I have only been there a few days, but it appears to me they take great joy in ridiculing "noobs". If you plan to stay a member I would suggest you just take it in stride. The one thing I have noticed is they think it is a game to run others into the ground. I don't think it is personal.
