Another person down there that my father saw was Adam Clayton Powell, Jr.. He went to Powell's hotel room with the idea of inviting him to maybe talk about labor law at the University of Puerto Rico. When Powell answered the door, he was drunk and asked my Dad to get some "broads" for him. As for him actually giving a college lecture. Fuhgidaboudit.
