Please let's remember that Bev was working every left wing whacko group last year (including the DUmmies), trying to claim that there is an evil Conservative cabal that is stealing democracy. Although I appreciate that she has (so far) been very respectful and non-controversial on these sites, I don't want to see perched up as some kind of hero or tragic figure here on FR. If that is rude to her, so be it, but remember she is the one who hired Andy to work on her "BBV" project, and she is the one who got Andy into the fund raising business in the first place.
Change to "the Dummie Funnie threads"
I don't think anybody's putting Bev Harris on a pedestal here--it's just that we're getting her side, after hearing only from the Andyite side.
I think what we're getting is a very human picture of Bev Harris, strengths and vulnerabilities both--which is surely not what we had before.
Now there's a word I can use! Matter of fact I know where I could use it about 70,000 times......LOL

You guys should see my wife's grandmother, who is very much dying of pancreatic cancer. My wife's family are middle Ohio union democrats; that's enough to understand the basic problem with them. My wife went up there to help them out, cook, clean, etc. She received not one thank you, evidently since she's not worthy of it since we don't have the finances they do - she was told as much. She did, however, get insulted and criticized on a daily basis by the old woman since my wife refused to abandon our home, me, Catholicism... basically because she is living her own life instead of being a slave to her grandmother. It's completely ridiculous, but they are of the democrat mindset.
I'm still in disbelief at their behavior, especially the woman who is dying and she can't do anything but try to get in as much hurt as possible before she dies.

The part I don't understand is the complaints from the CU crowd. Apparently it is drawing away from their posts that make fun of the DU, and they can't bask in the sunlight of 'look at this stupid Du post I found'.
As for why there are Fr and Du people there, Du won't allow the discussion. Duers can't remain civil long enough to post here.
They say there are three sides to every story. In this case, its what DU says about Bev, what Bev says about, and the TRUTH. All I know are 1,and 2. Therefore, I can't say for sure what happened/is happening. In this case, I default to the "don't trust anyone you don't know well" choice. While my respect for her has grown since she has shown the mojo to post here on FR, she is far from being on my "good list".
