Oh, just another fundraising organization? That's possible.

But I get the feeling his ego is such that he wants the attention and power and trappings that would go along with being a Congresscritter. His speeches would be ignored by millions on C-SPAN, he'd be breathlessly quoted and excerpted by MoveOn and Kos, and he'd be a frequent guest on Olberman and Begala. (And on their shows, too.) It would be a pudgy, gay, socialist activist's dream come true.
