I am by no means a lawyer or very knowledgeable about the law but isn't hearsay 2nd or 3rd hand knowledge? If all parties involved state that Andy told them personally via email, phone, etc...then is it not considered evidence?

Heresay is when someone tells you that someone else said something. If you heard it from the person directly, it is not hearsay.

I guess that's what I'm trying to figure out. It's not just the defense thing but the elaborate rationalizing that follows it. That's why I was convinced that Sfexpat was Undie. VARRY STRAANGE!!!

If you do a google search on Andy, there are all kinds of liberal blogs etc., claiming he needs their help (money) for pancreatic cancer surgery. There is no way he couldn't not have known that is what was out there. Somebody, somewhere has to have a phone message, email or something with him saying he had cancer, imo, unless this Beth chick is the one who organized it all.

There's got to be somebody around here that knows something about computers. Weird that it's only on this thread. Very annoying too. I'd call my kids but they're probably sleeping and would not be happy with me.

I believe I read Andy's last forum message to DU dated around the 10 of may or so yesterday...he knew what was being said about him having cancer...if not correcting people that assumed you have cancer the same as telling them you have cancer? If you get my gist....

When I hit refresh, I see a brief image of the beginning of this thread, then quickly to the last page with new posts.

A windows box pops up and asks for a password. I have to hit cancel twice to get it to go away. Pops up again when I hit refresh. I'm restarting to see if that puts a stop to it.
