BBV/ Bev Harris- Harris used the DUmmie conspiracy theory that the election was stolen to con the mental midgets out of $300,000

Skinner- The head DUmmie. On a good day, he is the intellectual equivalent of a rock. If you troll at DU, be sure to compliment his ummm... err... I don't know.

EarlG and Elad- Skinner's lackeys. EarlG is the one primarily responsible for the Undie Stephenson fiasco, by allowing the original fundraising thread.

mopaul- Notable for his lack of familiarity with the shift key. Posted "f*** you, ronnie" thread June 5, 2004.

William Pitt- Incredibly boring pundit who traced the start of the "Third American Empire" back to the US hockey victory over the Soviets at the 1980 olympics

misanthrope- fired from radio job for planning to run hack job instead of tribute to Reagan after the latter's death.

Kyphra (RIP)- Died in front of computer while in DUmmieville.

Not sure if that matters. Let's break down the facts here:

1. Andy never claimed cancer.
2. William Pitt claimed that Andy had cancer and probably was the main person to get the fundraiser started -everywhere-, including Daily Kos. All fundraisers were done so with the plea that Andy needed emergency pancreatic cancer surgery.
3. Andy took all the money.

Either way, Andy is implicit in that he took all the money and never bothered to correct. However, if the safety valve as speed_addiction explained it is true, and we have no reason to doubt his word... I would say that both are equally complicit in the eyes of the Feds.

This is a classic Prisoner's Dilemma game in the works. My computer science, logic & math organs are orgasming. I can't go to sleep.

They have 4 options available to them:

1. Cooperate, and let the feds passively persecute them. Risky, as the feds WILL know sooner or later.
2. Andy beats Pitt to the safety valve, wherein he walks and Pitt goes to jail.
3. Pitt beats Andy to the safety valve, wherein Pitt walks & Andy goes to jail.
4. They both arrive there at the same time, in which case nobody gets the safety valve and they all get jail time.

WASHINGTON ACTIVISTS FIGHT FOR ONE OF THEIR OWN

Many members of our energized, amazing, 800-person crowd have asked us to post this information on our blog: Andy Stephenson, a Washington grassroots electoral reform activist, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer--but has no health insurance. Progressives are organizing around the country to raise the $50,000 necessary for a Whipple procedure to remove the cancer.

Will is going to be putting up a letter at the PDA site today, I think, but we've started fundraising at DU.

Andy has no insurance and no assets. An angel helped us get him bumped to the head of the line at Johns Hopkins and we need to raise $50,000 -- $25,000 in the next few days, the rest by the middle of the month.

In the last two days, we've raised $10,000 in donations under $50!

The surgery won't proceed unless the hospital has their money and Andy can't wait.

I think Andy, being the pro, has been careful to keep his paws out of the sh!t. Note that he hasn't (to my recollection) ever admitted to having cancer. All he's ever done is say that he's sick. It's the others that have spread the lie that it's cancer. The burden of proof is on them to prove that Andy represented his illness to them as cancer. Meanwhile, they've gone on record as raising funds for Andy's cancer operation, and if that's untrue (as it appears) then they're guilty of wire fraud. It all comes down to evidence vs. hearsay, and evidence trumps hearsay everytime.
