Was it a personal contact from a CU member, or something posted on CU?

I'm watching the hunt and the overall dampening effect those calls had on the discussion was very noticable even though some in the thick of the hunt, those in the trenches may not have been affected. Calls meant nothing. May 26 surgery date is what COUNTS.

News ALERT! Can anyone confirm? I have it from a CU source that Andy's surgery will NOT be taking place at JH, as he didn't qualify. Did you just get this news? I am just catching up earlier in the thread. If true, then this is HUGE!!!!!!
To: Barset
That confused me too, at first, but after I re-read his post, I saw that he said that Miss Waverly, who works at JH, was letting him stay at her home. Not 'a' Miss Waverly. MW is the username of someone at DU who also works at JH. Andy is supposedly staying in her home, aka The DustBunny Palace. If you search DU, you will find posts by 'Miss Waverly'. Again, not the person's real name, just their username.

No, it's a false alarm. My CU source is always very reliable, but in this case got the dates mixed up. Sorry!!
I was hoping it was true myself, for some strange reason.
To: Judith_knows
Okay. But the fact is SOMETHING has to happen on May 26 that will be SIGNIFICANT. One thing Andy should keep in mind is that there might be a set of handcuffs waiting for him at Johns Hopkins.
To: PJ-Comix
Man, I would sure hate to get on the bad side of FR. :-)
I guess this is when patience is a virtue, heh?

That thought makes him feel kind of tingly...down there.

Hello--been out, and really dragging.
Need to know--is anyone aware that the infatuated DUmmiette "sfexpat2000" FIRST said the doctors needed $25,000 up front--clear back on 4-28--and then somewhat shortly thereafter said the hospital needed $25,000 up front?
The time line already has both links to those DUmmieland thread, but I am wondering if anyone had noticed this--the discrepancy, at the beginning, about WHO demanded the $25,000.
Over and out.

I know I posted something from CU with that info and while I always try to add a link, I missed that one.
In case anyone is still in doubt about Andy letting others put the word out for him...WRONG!!! See post #47

Had Jim Jones been able to be online, he would have found many of his "followers" at websites like DU.
Since the Clinton admin, I've felt they were like Scientologists, attack the attackers, fair game, stuff like that.

That's the ONLY problem you have with his posts??? For now...YES. I'm not in the middle of that fight and don't intend to be. I happened to see that the poster was still arguing about "Miss Waverly" and it caught my eye. Sorry if my post offended you.
