No one on this site ever wished AndyS ill health. I have seen sincere expressions of great concern for him, and wishes for his speedy recovery. That said, we have a very low BS threshold, and this whole mess is off the crap-o-meter about, oh, three lightyears or so. You're right, he has done your side no service at all. Even if he is genuinely suffering something, it comes nowhere near the magnitude of his donation baiting. I'm afraid the fallout will continue for sometime.

She is still an chartered, active 501c with plenty of reporting. She has her own following. Bev got scammed by the scammer who brought his own scam to DU. He won that battle and has the wits, charm, and grift to be winning this one. The Skinner silence is telling, I think he knows. But, he wants ultimate proof. Wouldn't be surprised if Skinner is over here.

But, he is a moron for letting it begin, and he is a moron for running a Gestapo like board where any debate is squashed and long term posters are tombstoned at will. I think that is the whole democrat party right now - too bad though because we really need a two party system - corruption comes quick and fast. The dems are running themselves right out of any viability. They think if they scream louder their message will get out - the problem is that it is getting out. And it turns many Americans off, no matter what like minds think when they bond together in the dummy fields.

I don't have an issue with the checks. I did have an issue with someone who threw a challange down. I took that as a personal challange and called the bank.

Thanx. And judging from your screen name you must be a Columbo fan. Me too. Check out this COLUMBO story I wrote. It was a WEIRD experience. The moment I stepped out of a nearby supermarket, this story started flashing in my head. I walked home and by the time I got there about 5 minutes later, it was like the entire script was recorded on tape inside my head while. Then I merely "played back" the tape in my head, typed it up, and what you see is the result.

One more time, I was a fraud investigator for a bank, a very good one at that. I think I know how to get the correct information from a bank!

And for the record, I did tell them why I was calling. I told her we felt there was an Internet scam and wanted verification. She was intrigued so I told her the whole thing. which is why she was so helpful!

Some people are better at getting information out of people, and I am one of those people. Note: Commonguy, my argument is not directed at you. ;)

More energy would be spent finding out if Undie got a refund from JH. Now anyone know anyone in JH in the finance dept.?

Thanks for the civility and welcome. I know a lot of people read this board, both conservatives and liberals, and I want people to know that not all liberals are taken in so easily. I don't know what his true condition is, and I wish him the best in terms of his physical health.

What I do know is things have not been reported as honestly in this process as they could have been. This hurts people and future causes. I have read this entire thread and all the stuff at DU, so I don't say this lightly. My heart goes out to anyone who gave who really needed that money for him or herself, and also to anyone who might not get the care they do need, for whatever reason. Thanks for letting me express my opinion on your forum.

That's so sad... I feel so bad for everyone with honest investment in this fiasco. For those who may have deliberately scammed with their putrid reverberations that are affecting a good many good people in so many ways.... - may you &&^%5%5$$#! and you know who you are. I don't, but you do.

It would be such a shame for DU to suffer harshly from all this because we do need balance, we do need fisty cuffs exchanged we do need to keep each other as honest and in line as we are able to with our sticks and stones words.
