now, you know, I'm never going to be able to listen to that song (which I very much like) again without seeing Undie's face. That is what I call a "bad thing".
Bookmarking for nightime updates.

Why would you be peeved at your husband's putting his given name on the machine that answers his phone?
Seems like a good way to weed out the people who wanted Art Smith, not Bob Smith.

Just FYI, I saw the timeline you posted on CU and that's only part of it. It's broken up into several posts, back around #85 or so.

where can I see all the songs together? so far I've only read ScamdyMan Can....They're not collected anywhere. You have to dig through the three monster threads to find them scattered about. Consider it a treasure hunt.
BTW, welcome. I see you've found a respite from the group espousing diversity, inclusion, and "free speech".

Perhaps a thread with just the Andy songs on it?

From WillPits insipid and excruciatingly tedious PDA Blog post:
"I kept one comment from the thread below: This has been an interesting and scary thread, to say the least. The degree to which some peoples egos have become involved is truely appalling. I hope everyone who has become so passionate about the extracurricular motives of the key players in this story will one day reflect upon the sheer ugliness of their actions, and especially upon the degree to which they carried that ugliness far beyond healthy scepticism. "
So he keeps one comment and LOCK! DELETE! BAN!'s the rest. Gee, WillPit, Skinner has certainly trained you well. DELETE ALL DISSENT!!!-The DU Motto
Also, the elitist arrogance of these people is truly amazing to observe. Mr. WillPit certainly hasn't called for a similar modicum of decorum when the subject is Jeff Gannon, now has he?

but to keep the rhyme I'd have said "See that boy, watch your green".
I think I was too concerned with the "Listerine" and "Pajamahadeen" rhymes....

This sounds strange but one of my dreams has been to do a lip-synch performance on stage to the tune of "Duke of Earl" while wearing a white top hat, white tux, white cape, and cane. The only other tune I've wanted to do the same thing with is "Mr. Earl," by the Cadillacs, except with a white derby instead of top hat. Oddly enough both songs have someone called "Earl" in them. "They call me Speedo but my Real name is Mr. Earl!"
Okay, I've lip synched to both of those before but not with the fancy white outfits on.

Sir, my number is listed. If you choose not to make use of that fact, that will be your loss, and (if I do say so myself) a great loss indeed. I shall not wait much longer. I have important things to do, you know.

I missed this little gem when you decided to start sharing the DU points with us...
He also said that the Checks had been Fedexed from Seattle to JH and had gotten waylayed. Finance found them in another department later. I thought the awesome Miss Waverly went storming into the mail room and snatched those checks, just in time to run up the steps and find out that poor Andy can't have his life saving surgery afterall, because those "bloodsucking people" took his money, but lost it, but still wouldn't give him the lifesaving operation he needed because the best doctors available forgot to do a 'superduper' test.

Nevermind. I don't know why I had #85 stuck in my head. Maybe it was once #85 in one of the other threads.
Now I have no idea where the latest timeline is!

ANDY ALERT!
ANDY ALERT!
MOVEMENTS OF ANDY REVEALED!
ANDY STILL ON THE MOVE!
ANDY PLANS TO MOVE AROUND IMMEDIATELY AFTER "MAJOR SURGERY"!
Make of this what you will, and no, I am not the source, and no, a gentleman does not betray the confidence of a lady.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=3216704
On the afternoon of Monday May 9th, TorchTheWitch asks about visiting Andy after surgery.
Andy answers---"by all means. I will be in Baltimore till friday then in New Jersey"
I couldn't find the average length of hospitalization for a Whipple procedure at Johns Hopkins, but other hospital sites have said that patients were hospitalized for 8-10 days after surgery.
I question whether AS was even having major surgery, given that he'd be travelling to NJ 3 days after the procedure.
Just made me wonder. Please don't use my name.

I had a friend (lost him when he wadded up his bike) that used to do one karoke song. He was not anything close to gay, but he would tie his shirt in knot right below his chest so it would be real tight. Push his pants down to his hips then prance on stage with a flair equal to the biggest, most flambouyant gay you ever saw. His song? The Weather Girls, "It Raining Men!" It was hilarious!
