I am not disappointed. No one has "proved" that Andy is sick.
My "reasoning" was overcome by Speed's latest version of his vet friend, and their being in Mogadishu together but never met because Andy was in another area, of a tightly controlled perimeter for a relief support action that suddenly became a battle action with no other "areas" for that action. There were no other troops in-country.

I for one am not calling you a bad guy. But you aren't explaining a couple of things. First, why is everybody calling you? Why not call PJ or franksolich, for example? Secondly, what the heck happened about that "inside" person who was asking you about prison life and how to avoid it? Supposedly that person was giving you inside info which we were awaiting breathlessly. Then your next post sounds like, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Andy's sick, the checks cleared, now go back to your previously scheduled lives." Boom. Just like that. And we're not supposed to notice or question why the Titanic turned on a dime?
There are a lot of questions I could have asked Andy when I talked to him. I asked about the "Groucho" pic because of one thing. It could be verified. Someone, sooner or later is going to walk into that motel and tell us the pic was taken there or it wasn't.
I'm a lot more interested in stuff that wasn't answered, like, "So where's the paper trail, Andy? Exactly how much money have you got from people? Where is it? How long have you known you have cancer, and why would a world-famous hospital like Johns Hopkins inexplicably make a life-threatened patient cool their heels waiting for surgery that should have been performed no later than a week after diagnosis? What's that you're hiding behind your back?"
I am posting whatever information I come across or is passed on to me. All of it, unless someone tells me to sit on it.
You sound like a very important man. Very important indeed.
If I come across something that sinks everyone involved in this thing (Andy, Will Pitt, Beth) I will put it up. But also, if I come across something (however unlike it might be right now) that exonerates Andy completely, no matter how many hearts it breaks or Freepers it angers, I will put it up also. That is the right thing to do. Anything less would be worthy of Dan Rather, not FR.

I don't think your the bad guy at all. I believe what you said was true, I also think that many around here are so disappointed at the soap opera they have been following isn't turning out the way they expected, that they have lost all sense of reason.
What's so funny is the part that people don't seem to get, that none of this affects their lives in the slightest. It has been a blast to be involved with this case for the past couple of weeks, but we all knew it would end sometime. If Andy told you the truth yesterday (which seems against his nature to begin with), then oh well time to move on. If not, we have gathered so much evidence about the case we may be able to put him away.
I personally hope he doesn't have pancreatic cancer, but if he does God Bless him.
What is interesting also, at least to me, is the timing of all of it. Andy suddenly comes out of hiding and starts talking (to Speed Addiction, of all people) just about the time Speed is gonna break some news here about someone doing the perp walk. Andy saves himself just in the nick of time, once again!

As I have stated before, I think that is the reason S_A was picked for Andy to talk to. S_A is exactly who I would have gone to? It makes sense if you are in CYA mood like Andy probably is. S_A is just reporting what was told to him.

Goodness, I had kept his blog open so I had the comments. I just reopened it in a new tab and I accidently refreshed to old one and now I've lost the comments. Does anyone have them?

If that happens again, what you can do is click the "back" arrow on your tool bar to go back to the page you had just been viewing.
That's what I did right after I refreshed and saw the comments were gone. So, I do have a window still open with them, but it'll probably take me a while to screen shot it all.
I don't think he is a bad guy and I have no idea whether he is telling the truth or not. I don't know him. Further, it is not that I am disappointed things didn't turn out they way I expected, that I've lost all sense of reason. In fact, the way things are going is anything but reasonable. That is what is disappointing. We went from being told this is going blow real soon because someone is going to the feds to, never mind, I guess he really is sick. He just told me so. I don't know what happened to the other sources.
Does that sound reasonable to you?
