These are not facts. They are not even factoids. Repeating Speed's phone conversation with the vet who may or may not have saved Speed's life in Mogadishu, and who is also a friend of Andys, and just happened to bump into him at Johns Hopkins, as fact, over and over, does not make it a fact.
Maybe it was my phrasing. Scot did not save my life in Somalia. He served in Somalia as did I. In a place like that, you place your life in the hands of the other troops there.
When Delta went in on a strike Rangers were security for them and back-up. They depended on us. The Rangers depended on the QRT to get to us if something went wrong.
I never met Scot there, but I know he was there. Our long conversation about it left me no doubt. There too many things about that place that a person can't know unless they were actually there.

Yes, there was an appeal for donations even in December of '04, maybe around Dec. 24, after the Bev debacle. I don't have the exact post of link handy.
But really Undie has been living off the donation gravy train for over a year now, going back to his failed run in the Dem primary for WA SOS--and indirectly even before that, to '03 and his days with BBV. I personally think Undie got the taste of living off donations and couldn't stop. He let his health problems be used in a misleading way to try to generate even more income, perhaps hoping that it would far surpass his actual costs. He didn't correct misrepresentations, false impressions, etc., along the way.
Undie LIHOP/MIHOP!

Do you have that pic of Will Pitt "contemplating his next step"?

such as the former Freeper Not a former FReeper. A very current FReeper.
Once more, that does not change the scamminess of Undiegate.

Thank you, krodg; I just found it, but was about two minutes behind you. Thanks.

There are a lot of hotel/motel lobbies I have transversed on the way to the bar, but being as I was on the way to the bar, I probably couldn't recognize any of them the next day.
You have a point...But something about the pic just just keeps stickin in my head, that I've seen that place before.

So, is "Beth" (fundraiser/bean counter) the person who said he had pancreatic cancer way back when, the same person who recently posted on DU that he "does not have pancreatic cancer, as others have said"?
But now, Will Pitt is saying he does have pancreatic cancer but 2 days ago he said he didn't have pancreatic cancer?

But now, Will Pitt is saying he does have pancreatic cancer but 2 days ago he said he didn't have pancreatic cancer? Does this mean that Pitt and/or Andy is actually John Kerry? ("He had pancreatic cancer before he didn't have pancreatic cancer before he had...")

If you can't trust a guy who's too busy checking out tires for a birthday present, detailing his girlfriend's stethescope, and checking in with Miss Waverly at the Dust Bunny Palace for assistance in defining plausible/implausible deniability on an aiding and abetting charge before he returns to FR to re-establish his credentials as Mr. Reliable, who can you trust?

I think that was bettyellen that said he didn't have cancer after all. Let me see if I can find that post.

Especially since Speed had been posting all over here the night before about how the dam was about to burst and someone was talking to the feds. I want to know how the Dummie who was going to the feds got in touch with Speed.I would like to know Speed's hypothesis on that; I have my own. I haven't seen him post since the jaw-dropping "revelation" yesterday.

Does this mean that Pitt and/or Andy is actually John Kerry? ("He had pancreatic cancer before he didn't have pancreatic cancer before he had...") It certainly confirms we're dealing with a bunch of liberals.
To: franksolich
Since Undie and pals have been soliciting money from 12/04 for his "tumor" (encapsulated or not), no doctor worth his degree in Guatemala would wait this long to remove it! I had a non threatening one and it grew fast. I wanted to wait just a week (to celebrate daughter's birthday)and I got a "hell no" for a response. They moved fast. Sent me for the appropriate blood work and BAM, done.
I can't see anything other than pure scam here. FWIW

Right. Who can you trust?
To: Scothia
Yes, I'm afraid this is the case. No offense to our friend speed, but the turnabout was just too drastic, too sudden, too convenient. It made him look like he turned into one of the Pod People overnight.
I am not convinced of anything except that Andy is ill. The checks, well someone else checked on that, Freepmailed me her number and I called her. This was before I talked to Andy and in fact Andy called me when I was on the phone with her. I just passed this on.\
Scot told me on the phone that he talked to Andy when Andy was at JH. Scot did not take Andy's word for it, someone checked into it and Andy was talking to Scot when the person saw him. Do I know for sure and have absolute certainty? No. Do I believe Scot? I do.
Does this mean I am convinced that a scam is not going on? I am not convinced of that. I just post whatever info comes my way.
One of the principals PMs me on CU and asks what jail was like and how they can work a deal. I explain the safety valve. I assume they are about to jump ship and probably jumped the gun by posting it.
I am not vouching for anyone except that Scot is who he says he is IN MY VIEW.

It looks like a couple of Embassy Suite lobbies I've been to.DING DING DING! We have a winner, ladies and gentlemen!
I've been thinking all along that I've seen that decor. It looks exactly like the Embassy in Monterey, CA near me. Someone go check out the Embassy/ies in Nashville and see if we can't get a foliage match!
