In saying that the checks were cashed/cleared, does it mean JH Hospital deposited them or could they have been turned back in by the scammers? I wonder if that was specified when asking the bank if they cleared.

I know this is kinda "off the wall" but the pic of Scamdy "checking in" kinda reminds me of a hotel in Nashville. I can't remember which one. But I could swear I've been thru that lobby going to the bar.

There are a lot of hotel/motel lobbies I have transversed on the way to the bar, but being as I was on the way to the bar, I probably couldn't recognize any of them the next day.

You are right about it being Jan 2nd too, but there was a Dec 04 one as well. Franksolich remembers it too. I kind of remember (again this is all hazy) that Charles Henrickson made a comment about it and how it had started in Dec 04. He wasn't the original poster, just making a comment

What appears to "be going on" is that the DUmmies selected someone they perceive as a credible "leader" over here, our speed_addiction, to feed him spurious information.

Upon reflection, yeah, that is one way one can "demoralize" an opposing force, by attempting to discredit a leader in that opposing force.

Yes, I'm afraid this is the case. No offense to our friend speed, but the turnabout was just too drastic, too sudden, too convenient. It made him look like he turned into one of the Pod People overnight. Same with William Pitt's last blog entry.

Once again, I love truth more than anything. I just don't think we've seen it yet.

If that in fact turns out to be the case, then he should have been checked in on the 9th for the surgery on the 10th.
