you and others have an ability to get past the trees and see the forest!
you were right on.
I don't know where to dig anymore.
Get this one from the excruciatingly tedious WillPit over at TO. "New Pitt essay coming soon"! Gee, Will we wait with bated freaking breath. Anyway his title is apropos, despite that it's some faucet dripping about the News Week story:
"Short Tales from Bizarro World"
Yep, Will that's just incredibly pithy, except that your "writing" about the wrong subject. Now, maybe if you'd been writing about Andy and DU, I might consider reading it.
This is one of the posts on CU.

That was already answered. $56,590 since he said he needed the surgery.
You know, should I do an ANDY ALERT! on this, or do you think people are tired of them?
Either way, tell me.
Further point I wanted to make, there is no scam if he truly has bile duct cancer. My Dad's was oftem referred to as Liver cancer since that term has more meaning to most people than bile duct cancer. Also if you develop the symtoms as Andy claims, the cancer has usually spread too far for any help.
"Donna Reed. Maybe it was It's a Wonderful Life, and her TV show "
Someone told me I reminded them of Donna Reed. I'm not sure if it was a compliment or not. She then called me the 'happy homemaker.' O.K. I guess it wasn't. LOL!
Sure there may be no places to dig, but someone could take the time and chronicle all the sites, all the paypal addresses, all the requests and formulate approximates on money taken in.
HE would then have to prove a negative rather than prove a postive.
It's called playing the game.
I am not up for the task, because I am not a detail person. I am a big picture person.
And, don't let the infiltration bother us - continue plodding along, getting the facts presented straight and forget if he is sick or not. We now know that was embellished - but so what. What was the motivation.
Back to rule 101 - everything about anything is usually amount one thing - money.
What I think would be funny is an Andy Alert asking "What gets me is some super-bright, super-intelligent, super-cerebral lad of the Jewish persuasion masquerading as a middle-class suburban goy housewife, when really, there is no need to."
Not appropriate in an ANDY ALERT!, sir.
I highly doubt that figure
123 sites X $100.00 dollars a day X 60 days = $738,000
he has been collecting on different sites for 6 months.
Why exactly would I want to do that?
Yeah, I was just making a little joke. Not that it matters, but I'm a maam (you're getting that a TON, aren't you).
Well whatever comes of this, Andy has become a minor internet "star", just like his favorite journalist, Jeff Gannon.
Yep, Andy, you have arrived.
Yeah, which leads me to think that probably 90% of the members of Free Republic are women.
"usually amount to one thing-money."
Yes but I also think he wants to be where the action is.
Things weren't going well out west.
Where is the real scene for gaining power, influence and money? You got it, D.C. He got a taste for it because of BBV, all the DUmmies told him how great he is, hell he was on MSNBC.
He wants to be in D.C.
Well, it makes some sense. You've got a LOT of stay at home moms who spend their "downtime" online. It'd be interesting data to collect (gender of online forum participants).
Don't forget the e-mail blizzard that we have no way of confirming, either.
