I think we have a winner!
Total disinformation mucking things up.
We are looking for the truth, not Undie vindicating himself over the telephone! Cripes. Let's get back on track.

I have been wondering that to, but I think I finally figured it out. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong, but I think he is referring to the fact that some have commented that greatauntoftriplets looks like Andy with a wig and he is wondering why? Let me rephrase that last part--he is wanting us to wonder why and stay on track. So am I close?

Another question in all of this (and something that is probably easily found) is was the BBV "scandal" ever reported in any reputable publication. Now, we can quibble about what is reputable and what isn't, but I know from lurking at DU for about a year, I've just ASSUMED that there was an ongoing investigation of Bev Harris and that she scammed them. Maybe a "scam" to them was she didn't prove what the DUmmies wanted BBV to prove. And Undie saw a way "in" with the DUmmies. (this is of course all wild speculation on my part) Oh, the web of deceit!

I hope you folks start listening a little bit more to some of the level heads on here. This is a game. To the victor goes the spoils. Do you honestly think he would slink away when he was revealed for what he is? There was too much at stake. 123 plus sites donating under what may very well be multiple accounts. He just sat back and formulated another game plan. Him and his only true confidants.
Sure he is sick, but perhaps his only mistake was the embellishment that revealed things.
He is a professional fundraiser, a grifter and dang good at playing the game.
I have a theory about everything when it comes to anything - follow the money. period.

Right--anybody have a photograph of the DUmmie "greatauntoftriplets"?
None in the DUmmieland rogues' gallery.

I still don't think this is over. Not by a long shot. I agree. The fact that Undie really is sick in Baltimore and gave JHH legit checks for $32,000 does NOT mean all of the rest of this is legit and not a scam. It is still, at a minimum, a case of gross irresponsibility and misleading people, and, at worst, a huge intentional scam, albeit based in part on a legit health concern.
To: Charles Henrickson
I am leaning a lot more towards "at worst" than "at minimum."
To: volvox
If that's what it is, then I am completely embarrassed by what I thought he meant. I need to go watch TV or something.

I still have a lot of problems with the explanation. My Dad died of bile duct cancer, unfortunately it wasn't diagnosed untill it was too late for surgery. From my experiences with this, if there is any chance for surgery to get the cancer in this area they do it Right F'n now. No one in their right mind would turn down surgery in Washington now, for the possibility of surgery in Maryland in 2 months. The cancer is way too fast spreading for that. And when the cancer gets big, it starts spreading fast to other parts of the body. No chemo is known to be very effective, so if you can get surgery, you get it right away. These cancers are called
adenocarcinomas (I had to talk to my sister b4 I posted this) which is fairly close to what speed talked about in his post.
From further reading, it appears that bile duct cancer could be either near the pancreas, or near the liver.
I really don't know what to make of this since anyone could have looked up all the same info on the net, and passed it on. But bile duct cancer is real, painful and fast moving. Truthfully, I hope it is a scam because I wouldn't want anyone to go through what my Dad did. I still have a problem with the timeline, the fundraising and the diagnosis that were passed along, but I hope people didn't jump on someone who was truly sick with this disease.
Bile duct cancer is rare and that might have caused some of the apparently misleading comments as my Dad's cancer was first explained to us as Liver cancer before we got more information.
Sorry for the long post, but if anyone needs more info on bile duct cancer ask away.

Yeah, I think you're right. And sadly, I think that means it's going to take longer for this to play out. Ugh.

OK, now picture Petra as a fat, middle-aged woman with her hair in curlers, a mud masque on her face, ratty bathrobe, ironing while she talks on the phone and a cigarette hanging out of her mouth, with rugrats pulling at her robe.

The felonious Andy is ill, but not with what you described.
I mean, hey, look at those recent photographs of him--taken four, five, months after he was "diagnosed"--he looks as pink and plump as a pi--well, you get it.
To: franksolich
So what's CU saying about all of this? Haven't had a chance to go over there. Way too much to do.

I posted a similar view earlier. If I wanted to get rid of the doubts, I wouldn't go to Skinner or Pitt. If one of them verified the story, there would still be people here and in DUmmie land that would doubt. No I would try to convince someone on the other side. I would contact someone. I think it was S_A because of the fact S_A made the comments about jail time. I, if I were Andy, might start to get worried reading that. Even though, we might feel that S_A wouldn't betray a contact, Andy might think he could use his persuasive skills to get something to slip. Even if I don't succeed, I have planted the seed of doubt that my opposition will read and my follow DUmmies. (Of, course, when I use pronouns, I am pretending to be Andy and I am not really a DUmmie plant. Although, would you know?)
Note: S_A, I know you are just reporting what has been told to you and I don't believe you are purposefully misleading. Maybe what was told to you will prove on the up and up. I still think my theory holds as to why it was you.

I am leaning a lot more towards "at worst" than "at minimum." You may very well be right. What I am trying to say is that even if it is just "the minimum," there is still lots to criticize Undie & Co. for and still lots of unanswered questions.
To: All
Let me just say this, go back and read some of my posts and others that were on track the whole time. Everyone caught caught up in the little things and got side tracked and everyone forgot the big picture, the time lines, the actual facts and speculated. This opened the door to create doubt because it isn't easy to prove a negative - but it is easy to prove a positive.
123 site X $100.00 dollars a day times 60 days = $738,000.00
NOW WE ARE TALKING REAL MONEY FOLKS.
Think about it.
Get your daubers up! Keep digging - the real story and the big picture is right in front of you.

I do agree that he looks way too healthy to have had this diagnosed for even 2 or 3 months. And as I posted you do not wait for this surgery, it is that serious. But to have bile duct cancer is not any different than pancreatic or liver cancer, in fact it might even be worse than the others.

CU is saying a lot about this.
The deal is, since the Grand DUmmie "Skinner" shut off any comments about "the Andy Stephenson situation," the DUmmies interested in "the Andy Stephenson situation" have gone over to CU, and it's pretty lively.
