Bev Harris claims Undie stole her money. She couldn't nail him for it though. Scam cooked up when Undie said he needed surgery and couldn't afford it, for revenge. Maybe to ruin an already bad reputation and maybe to get him prosecuted?

Not that I doubt your friend...but is he just taking Andy's word? Or does he KNOW, for a fact, what Andy's at the hospital for?

I mean, Andy can easily SAY to your friend "I have a malignant tumor on my pancreas," but be in the hospital for an ingrown toenail or AIDS or...whatever. [I'm just stretching here.] Doesn't make it true.

I'm not saying he's NOT sick. I'm just saying he doesn't have a solid track record of honesty and forthrightness.

Just curious. Could Andy have been going to JH to cover his tracks because of the fits yesterday? Plus, I still say that all this could have been avoided with the simple step of setting the trust up through Johns Hopkins, so no checks were sent directly to Undie for cashing.

Why is Will Pitt questioning it? He actually knows Undie in real life. Undie apparently failed to provide Will with substantial evidence, leading Will to publicly speak out about it.

Trust me. I'll still be watching closely to make sure this most recent revelation is accurate.
But having seen the work speed (and others) have done on this, for him to have posted what he did, makes me feel like this is end of the story.
As to why Andy didn't provide further proof, I don't know. The only explanation I can come up with is privacy issues. However that doesn't jive with asking publicly for money. If you're going to do that you better be prepared to bare your soul (or medical records as it were).
I still think there is something fishy about the fund raising, being as it started in Dec 04. I addressed that in one of the previous threads where I stated that I thought Andy had gotten used to not working for a living. He just joins a long list of professional activists in that sense. If that were a crime 75% of the Democratic party would be in jail.
I could be wrong about all of this. Time will tell.
