I agree. It makes no sense to challenge anyone who is trying to protect Americans from state sponsored homicide. I hope other states paid attention to Florida because there was no larger wake up call. I think of Terri being murdered every single day. She didn't get to live because of a tube, a G-tube which is common, not extraordinary.

I have some personal issues going on right now, but I'd like to look up statutes in CA. It doesn't make sense for FReepers who call themselves "wild turkeys" to ignore the fact that this can happen to them. We live in troubling times, and this could conceivably happen to any one. Why aren't they taking this seriously? This is not a joke!

For personal reasons, I have not visited the Terri sites recently.

However, today I heard an item of interest on the radio. It seems that organ transplant recipients are being encouraged to take organs from "less than perfect" donors, i.e. elderly people.

IMHO the organ transplant industry and IVF organizations are very much suspect in the push for euthanasia. Is harvesting donor eggs from young female accident victims allowed/commonplace? Does anyone know?
