I've wondered the same. Also wondered if some of them are just Andy and/or friends under different logon IDs.

IMO, The reason this is dragging out so long is because Paypal is holding the funds. He's got to suspend disbelief until they're cleared.

Or maybe he intended to pretend that he actually got the surgery --then he could score some fruit baskets, too.

Sure. Worlk with him for a cut of 5 or 10 grand, and then a few days from now when all the money has come in, you all say, "Wow, surgery was successful, and Andy is so brave!" That way, nobody ever can say it was a scam.
