Brian Duprey should not be described as a twenty-first century Goliath. He is a David against a Goliath of liberalism.

Also, I wouldn't use the "God doesn't make mistakes" argument against liberals seeking tax dollars for a sex-change operation because they would apply it against someone needing correction of a common birth defect such as cleft palate.

A better argument would be what any insurance company would use-- we don't pay for elective or cosmetic surgery for a non-medical necessity.
