Subsequently there are other people who have been scattered worldwide. One such are the Romany, and another are the Sa'ami. The Romany through their own interest in traveling on to new places, or to flee persecution, and the Sa'ami through their dominance of the whaling industry in the 1700 and 1800s.
Then we have the case of all of the people in the Celtic fringe. Their home countries (Wales, Scotland, Brittany, Galicia, Ireland, Manx) today have but 10% of the ethnic populations whose origins pertain to those lands. The other 90% are somewhere else, usually in a lot of "somewhere elses".
