If Judge Greer ordered that it was lawful for you to beat your wife would Jeb step in?

Maybe.
What about the legislature? Don't they have a role before a governor?

What about an appeals court?

If another court(s) upheld the ruling, isn't it possible that the ruling is justified and lawful (despite pure emotional driven agendas of a few dolts who don't know how laws are applied)?

Jeb Bush could still step in and let Terri die in peace in her mother's arms. But he won't. COWARD!

A better question for certain Freepers might be:

If Judge Greer ordered it was lawful for you to beat your wife, and many started beating their wives, would you stand by and say it was ok because it was legal?

The American Revolution: ILLEGAL
Rosa Parks' Actions: ILLEGAL

Slavery : LEGAL
Nazi Atrocities: LEGAL

The Governor has the power to act. Only the Legislature has the power to take him to task for acting and only then after the fact.

Wait...here come the gubernatorial apologists! Don't pick on the poor Governor....he can't do anything about it!

BS!

Didn't Jeb take an oath to uphold the Florida Constitution?

(Florida Constitution)
ARTICLE I
DECLARATION OF RIGHTS
SECTION 2. Basic rights.--All natural persons, female and male alike, are equal before the law and have inalienable rights, among which are the right to enjoy and defend life and liberty......

EVEN THE FLORIDA STATUTES CONCERNING HEATH CARE UPHOLD THIS IDEAL:

(From the Florida statutes):
Chapter 765 HEALTH CARE ADVANCE DIRECTIVES 765.106 Preservation of existing rights. --The provisions of this chapter are cumulative to the existing law regarding an individual's right to consent, or refuse to consent, to medical treatment and do not impair any existing rights or responsibilities which a health care provider, a patient, including a minor, competent or incompetent person, or a patient's family may have under the common law, Federal Constitution, State Constitution, or statutes of this state.

Odd, I don't see the quantifier 'ability to enjoy life' anywhere...just the RIGHT to enjoy life.

The right to DEFEND life is there as well...no one loses their natural rights just because they hold public office.

Maybe the grub should have READ the Constitution before forswearing himself!!!
